The Ballymena Doorstep Advertiser is to increase its circulation from 15k to 20k in 2011, giving it far and away the largest circulation in Ballymena…

Ballymena's favourite community newspaper
Starting from the January issue, which goes out late December in time for the Sales, the extra copies will give advertisers in the Ballymena area comprehensive exposure.
With the increased print, we intend to keep the copies of the Advertiser well-stocked in the shops and at the same time increase the number of shops and establishments where people can pick up their free copy.
The increase in print run shows elbowroom media’s and the Ballymena Doorstep Advertiser’s commitment to providing the best advertising solutions for Ballymena.

Elbowroom Media’s latest publication, the ‘Ballymena Good Food Guide’ has hit the shelves…
It was great working along with our friends in Ballyprint on the publication and we’re delighted that the attractive little booklet, which showcases the best places to eat in and around the borough, is being very well received.
Here’s a little taster (no pun intended) for all you blog readers:
The mid-Antrim region has some of the best quality farmland for miles around, and is famed for its produce. With such an abundance of top quality, fresh ingredients and an equal amount of restaurants keen to utilise them, it seems fitting to celebrate the food and dining experiences to be had in and around Ballymena.
Detailing a wide range of restaurants and cafés the BGFG contains everything you’ll need to know about dining in the region.
Whether it’s a town centre location that’s required or a countryside retreat, a fine dining experience or a pub lunch, Asian or traditional, the guide will help you to find the eatery that’s right for you, whatever the occasion.
All that’s left for you to do is to leaf through and choose where to go for some flavoursome local food.
Bon Appetit!

It’s been all about the publications recently at elbowroom media. Following up on a very successful Show News Edition of the Ballymena Doorstep Advertiser, we are coming out with a fresh-faced publication in June/July. It will be business as usual for Ballymena’s favourite, but with a bit of a revamp.
Also in the pipeline is a magazine for one of Ballymena’s best known brands and we’re looking forward to producing a top notch publication for them.
Due to the success of the bespoke booklets we produced for Newtownabbey Borough Council, we have two more to get cracking on. We can’t wait to get started on these as they always produce such tangible promotional results.
And last but not least in our publications to do list is the Good Food Guide brochure, due to hit the shelves in September.
As far as publications go we will be busier than a buy-one-get-one-free vuvuzela promotion over the next few weeks.
On the advertising front, we are about to bring out some very tasty products in the next couple of months. Advertising options that will certainly give our clients a lot more elbowroom in the marketplace. Watch this advertising space!
